I never told anyone about this because it's crazy and it involves cough syrup but one time when I was high on cough syrup and weed I started to believe I could contact God at command (only when I was high on cough syrup) on my balcony. So I went on my balcony and I started to look up at the sky and I could feel God and I mentally called on him- then a flying rod flew like out of no where across my face. It was REAL NOT A HALLUCINATION I FELT THE WIND OF IT and for like .5 seconds I saw its shape and I knew for sure it was a flying rod. It was also 3 am in the morning so it was no fucking bird or bug, besides it was too big to be a bug.

After it flew away from my face and into the sky.

Ever since then I've been intrigued about the connection between cough syrup and aliens/supernatural , I'm starting to think it wasn't God I was communicating with but maybe some aliens impersonating God fucking with my head to piss off the real God.

i think it has to do with the chemical changing your level of perception. like tuning a radio.

You can definately tell the diffrence between halucinations, and real things. They have even secretly done expiriments with LSD, on this type of shit.

I've seen words appear on the wall, by wood getting darker within the letters, and had thoughts appear in my head, while feeling a prescence, but not completely sure not a halucination, then looked outside, and saw an extreemely bright blue star, with red whithin it, that slowly moved back, and forth. It even left, after a few hours, unlike a star.

For like 4 hours straight, there were lights definately not a halucination, but I wasn't sure they were UFO's. They looked like porch lights, but then morphed into flickering orange balls, and one seemed to move up, and hover. I drove to find them, but they dissapeared behind trees, as soon as I exited my driveway.

Anyway, this isn't a thread hijack, so I'll stop.

Well, I have read that, in order to find out what these mysterious "rods" were, a Chinese university conducted an experiment consisting of high-altitude nets. After capturing several of the supposed "rods" on the net, they brought the net down for examination. It turned out to be moths.

iono if they can be explained as flying bugs... i've heard some pretty crazy shit about the rod phenomenon, but really who knows?

what sort of tests could differentiate between hallucinations and some signals that we can perceive under the influence. i think it's either all real, or all hallucination- though im not sure which.
