The continued silencing of their screams has trained my eyes to rest open.
These screams have become routine in my slumber.
Each scream etches a memory in my mind.
These howls dress my body with a scent of butchery.
I have grown accustomed to the pools of blood on the cobblestone streets.
I feel him in my veins.
I am his kin.
And those screams have become mine.
Their blood has too become my satisfaction.
My escape into utter bliss.
His assassinations become my permanent grin.
His genius has provided me with a new ability.
His evil has provided me a blueprint.
The silhouette in the alley curves towards my lurking eye.
Only to notice a glimpse of his skin in the streetlight.
Standing in the shadows is my defined personality.
With crack of his cape comes a bloody breeze.
And his fiery eye has caught mine.
His homicidal maniac has turned on me.
Considering his mercy is lent to no one.
And my potential has been slain.
The bloody cobblestones have a river of my blood to be swabbed.
But my dying wish has been answered.
To see the midnight blue of the European night sky provide a backdrop to my only father.
