I don't know something inspired me to post this, even though it's a drunk ramble, something of a poem.

The sky breaks dawn,
While I dream on
Loveless and spent
Torn and ripped
an ocean of sorrows that lay before me
Nothing's left to say
Actions speak louder than words
but if I screamed would it even be heard?
Meanwhile the sun pierces the sky
Belive me when I say I'd rather not be alive.
To feel the warmth on my skin,
Just reminds me of all my old sins
is there no rebirth?
No god?
No hope for salvation?
Here my kingdom comes.
No need for this old skin,
spent and bent,
I die a martyr to the cause of nothing
and wear my badge with honor
glory glory hallelujah
We scream and charge and die for nothing.
