Like the title says Happy new year to all. And do you guys know any new games expected to drop this year?

Well, the good games may not come out until next christmas.

Maybe we'll get the blizzard ones - Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 this year. But you never know with blizzard...

I'd say Starcraft will, but I highly doubt Diablo 3 would be out this year, but as you said, you never know. As long as they don't do the same thing with Ghost to either of them.

My next two games that jump to mind are skate 2 and Killzone 2.

Diablo 3. I really fucking hope it's out this year, I've been looking forward to it for ages.

I think Bioshock 2 is coming out in like November, but other than that Skate 2.

I hope the good games come out before Christmas. Never heard of those games, I think I will try them out.

Never heard of those games

You've never heard of Starcraft of Diablo?

You been under one of these (http://www.meteorites.wustl.edu/lunar/layers.jpg) for a long time?

^^ hah at raab
Yeah there is skate 2 and diablo 3 which better fucking come out.
Anyways there isnt many more good games yet that many people know of.

Resident Evil 5 comes out this year I believe. Hopefully God of War 3 will as well.

Fuck yes i can't wait to get that game.

But us poor Aussies will be lucky to get it
Looks like I'm importing

I played some of Killzone 2 (perk of my job) back in September, and I didn't think much of it...it played like a half-assed cross between CoD4 and Army of Two. CoD4 because of the zooming/shooting rhythm and Army of Two because that's what the physics reminded me of.

Also there was this goofy-ass fucking part where you had to use SIXAXIS controls to open a valve. It was really unintuitive, the lag got in the way, and in the end it took you completely out of the game. They need to take that shit out.

As for the next big game of 2008? I don't know of anything significant dropping before RE5 on March 13th.

Sims 3 next month :D

sims in general is pretty boring. Unless you mod the shit out of it, which is annoying as well.

As for me, skate 2, already have it pre ordered and payed for. And god of war 3. Dont have a PS3 but will when this game comes out.

And hopefully another mass effect anytime soon will be pretty epic.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Cheers Bud. That's nice of you.

Anyone know any good games coming out this year?

Bah, I knew you were after something.

Street Fighter 4
Marvel : Ultimate Alliance 2 Fusion
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
DC Universe Online

I thought they canned DC online?

I thought they canned DC online?
I haven't heard this, but I haven't looked into it much.

It's likely going to be a game that's disappointing anyways... but we'll (possibly) see.

ITT: DLC and mods for games that came out last year and this year.

CoD6
Resident Evil
Duke Nukem Forever (oh god please)

Final Fantasy XIII and Star Ocean 4 is the only two i wanted to play.
