What are your experiences, &t, with the occult? Insights? Findings? Relationship with? Etc. Post them plz!

Mine:

It kind of runs in my family...on my mothers side, beliefs of 'energy' or 'intuition' or 'deeper than normal', that kind of stuff. Nobody has explicitly said "yes I'm an occultist," but there are obvious undertones of...an interest.

The biggest thing I experience is synchronicity, almost every day. For instance, just yesterday I was cleaning out my room and I found a receipt from the library saying: "materials due on 12/12/08 at 5pm" and sure enough it was exactly 5pm on 12/12. Other things, too.

Personally though, I can't form any of my 'more than skin deep' experiences into words. Mainly it's feeling and energy and intuition that, every day, I get insights into things just from these.

Well, that was kind of lame, I know. Maybe you guys have something you can put into words as really I'm a n00b looking for some confirmation that the Occult is worth studying.
