It's finally happening in January at Affliction's next event. Your thoughts?

Arlovski has pretty good hands and striking and i think he may have a solid chance at stunning Fedor. Fedor throws lopping shots and I think Arlovski could catch him with some powerful counter punching. Then again I think Fedor has a decent chin and an amazing ability to recover and adapt. Still, a fight is a fight.

Arlovski looked sloppy against Nelson with his submission defense. So I think Fedor may just take his arm home with him. He may even knock him out. He doesn't do it often but Arlovski has a questionable chin.

I Say Fedor by submission late in round 1. I think Arlovki's best chance will come through knocking Fedor out with strong counter punching or a TKO stoppage if he can cut Fedor bad enough - he's notorious for getting cut.

Smart money on Fedor although an Arlovski win would still be refreshing in shaking the MMA world up a bit.

Smart money is always on Fedor. Doesn't matter if he's fighting a genetically enhanced freak or an entire army, smart money is on him. Although out of the few HW's I want to see him fight Arlovski is up there.

Am I the only person who thinks Arlovski is over-rated?
He has incredible striking ability but half the time his heart doesn't seem to be in it and he seems to take a while to get into the fight, if Fedor fights like he did against Timmy Arlovski will get murdered.

In all other match up no Arlovski is not over rated but Fedor is a whole new monster. Fedor is the only dude that has made mostly all his fight look easy it is incredible. That said Arlvoski put Big Timmy dow just a easily in the first fight. what like 40 sec. with a heel hook 1st round but no i dont think fedor loses just yet.

Since I saw the Big Nog fight... I'm not so sure about anything anymore. Fedor is without question a legend and for no plausible reason do I think he'll lose. But, I can no longer be as sure in my prediction. Nog took beating after beating but never got beat that easy. And to Mir... that just hurts.

This, Nog beat Cro Cop (who was a far better striker than mir) and went the distance with Fedor, so that does cast a bit of doubt on things. But Nog's loss might have been him coming past his prime and he must be feeling something from all the beatings he has taken, which isn't something that has really affected Fedor.
So, unless Arlovski get's lucky (opens up a cut or something like that) I just can't really see him winning.
