Default Peacocking Fashion

Okay, a man called mystery, possible the world best pick up artist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystery_(pickup_artist) set a trend. This is called peacocking.
http://www.seduction-chronicles.net/2007/12/04/peacocking-done-right/

Basically, dressing for attention.
I used to be a pretty normal guy, jeans T-shirt, before pick up I thought ordinary got you laid with gorgeous chicks! What a average frustrated chump XD.

Peacocking i sonly one aspect of pick up of course, so I havent used it yet. So where do I start? What shops do you guys reccomend? I actually have no sense of fashion, I just go to Next every few months.
So, help please?

Cool

Mystery totally overdoes it, with his furry hat and black fingernails.

Just wear some nice jewelry.

Necklaces, Leather bracelets, Rings, stuff like that.

Mystery is a burnt out questionable homosexual. Seriously, what a douchebag. Sexiest outfits for a dude:

1. White shirt, any kind.
2. Jeans, not too tight, not too loose.
3. Black belt (optional).
4. Black shoes.

If it's clean, this looks great on any man. Besides, you shouldn't rely on clothes to get attention, that's so superficial. Clothes may initially catch the eye, but your personality will always be the ultimate deciding factor for women.

Are we on about the sane guy?
Mystery I am on about is a pick up artist who has been laid more than Casanova, so probably not gay...

Um.... Dude, I know most good looking girls in Glasgow, if that's what you're after. Bamboo, Karbon, Tunnel, Silver, Campus, The Arches, Vickies, The Garage, November Cafe, Common, Social, Byblos Elevator club? Take your pick if you're looking for a girl in Glasgow. Don't listen to that website, the webmaster is probably a virgin.

Okay, he LOOKS like a burnt out questionable homosexual. This is coming from a girl, and seeing someone who is covered in doodads (also soul patch) makes me think they're compensating! Again, I stress the outfit I mentioned before (maybe stubble too if you have dark hair) because it's masculine, sexy, and striking without being an eyesore. It also won't distract women from your face and body.

I don't get it at all.
From a man's point of view, the guy in the peacocking picture doesn't look interesting at all.
Is that what women fall for? A big bracelet and a big necklace?
Rather dull peacock.

Don't overdo it. One conversation-striking piece of clothing or accessory should do, be it a watch, jewlery, a loud t-shirt or shoes.

Personally I like scarves or bracelets, something you can put on the girl and wander away that gives you a reason to come back later.

The guy in that pic looks like he's just trying too hard.

However note the new stance and aura of confidence he has, basically he thinks by wearing those accessories he's cool. Chicks would be more attracted to the confidence than the acessories.

Just find something you like that has some kind of meaning to you. Bracelet , watch , necklace whatever, but don't over do it. Keep it simple, neat, and clean.

I agree, Mystery's "Peacocking" was a bit extreme. Like IFTL said, just get an item of clothing and use it as a topic starter.

Though, I did like Mystery's "Giving a girl a piece of jewelery telling them not to go too far" thing so you can get back to them later. Cool

This...I'd go with a hat if I wanted something to stand out, but some places have a no headwear dress code, so in that case it would be a loud shirt.

That's the most retarded thing you could possibly do. You'll never hear from the girl again, and you lose a piece of jewelery that she'll sell the next day.

fucking hell this thread is gaaaaaay!

and so is that website!

"look for what the alpha males are wearing and emulate that (with a bit of yourself in there)!!!!"

good god!

wear stuff that makes you feel good.
I'v pulled wearing my normal jeans from river island and a grey button up hoody and my old adis, when everyone else in the club has been dressed up like they were going to a gay wedding! It's called smiling, introducing yourself and asking a question! It's just talking to someone, you can usually tell which person is going to give you the time of day just by making eye contact.

I'm don't dress like im trying most of the time. and it works.

fuck everyone who says dont over do it.

I say dont under do it.

If I go out to pick up a chick in basic jeans and a tee-shirt I usually have success

If I try in bright pink scrubs, a flower print button up, green shoes, with a hat and 1 pink fingernail I ALWAYS pick up a chick (usually crazy)

anything in-between doesnt work as well.

just my 2 cents from personal experience

A piece of jewellery includes a jewel, no? And that's gotta be worth at least a fair few bucks.

insecure people over do it because they don't have something you cannot fake of buy, PERSONALITY. given a decent personality it doesn't matter if you are dressed in what you went to bed in last night showerless or wearing a fuckin gucci suit it won't matter. the person i quoted is a perfect example of someone who is too fuckin insecure to ever actually get a girl.

LOL

you don't know me man, and I guarantee you if you completely "over do it" and become the biggest most flashy vibrant asshole at a party YOU WILL GET LAID. but then again you wouldnt know anything about that bc all you can do is sit on totse and tell people how they can't get laid so maybe you will feel better about yourself, but whatever. I believe everyone can get laid (even you) if you don't believe me go to party dressed like a complete asshole; but then again you wouldn't have the balls to do that even if it might get you some pussy now would ya?
