Default spit roast! (party)

so i just came back from a birthday party.

it was a bbq, (sausages, marinated chicken, chinese pork kebabs, meat patties, chicken wings,),

as well as a whole veal, 25kg.

tbh, i felt that although the veal was a wow factor, it really did not have much meat on it.

there was probably less than 5kg of actual meat on it, the rest being bone/tendons/cartilage.

i was thinking for my 21st bday (a long way away),

i'd get a spit roast, as well as some other foods.

what are some good foods?
suggestions?

suggestions as to other meats?
veal is good in that it can be eaten half cooked, with not much fear of food poisoning (if handled correctly of course).

I know a few girls who've had a spit roast party. I doubt you're talking about the same thing, though. ;) :D

Hahah.

Remember the movie Half Baked, where Brian's all like, "You said you gave Mary Jane a pearl necklace, how much did that cost?"

And Dave Chappelle's like, "Obviously you missed the point of that story."

Think ill bring it back on topic ^^

We had a Spit Roast pig for my Mum's 50th birthday party, It was absolutely brilliant, We had it with soft burger buns with apple sauce and Apricot Stuffing, The guy came round at 7am to start the pig and setup on the day and served at about 6-7pm. Cost about £400, Professional service and all food/sides cam with it. I had 3 ^^
