I'm thinking of moving to Saint Helena. Solely for the purpose of being isolated, there isn't really a specific attraction it for my goals, so if anyone can spot a better town for me, let me know.

I want to do it to build some sort of a self-dependent survival camp, I am going to buy solar powers and depends on food from agriculture and pastoralism. I want a place that is isolated, cheap or free to get farmable land in, the best place I can think of is Saint Helena, so does anyone know if it meets my criteria? what is the availability of farmable land on it?

Also, I want a place that's not too isolated by society. Just a place where I can be away from it and only interact when I choose to, a place that is close to a place where mail is recievable..

Any input would be much appreciated.
