Dynamics of human ejaculatory fluids in space
what happens if you rub one out in space?
would it be like a floating sticky white glob ?

Yeah, then you can blow your load and have your bitch float over and swallow it with out that pesky gravity.

how fast would my ejaculate be traveling?

That depends on you.
If it were a strong orgasm, it would likely fire the wad at a high velocity in the manner of a comet, whilst also propelling you back at a negligible speed. Possibly even causing you to do slow front-flips in mid air.
Due to the salty, sticky nature of jizz, it would be extremely hazardous to certain materials. Most notably electrical circuitry.
Upon impact, the load would likely splatter and start to splash back around the edges, but the viscous nature would still hold it together. Might actually be kind of cool to watch.

If I recall correctly, ejaculate reaches a top speed of about 30 mph.

I would contest that due to the gelatinous properties of semenal goop, it would retain whatever shape it took upon exiting your junk. Where it gets interesting is if it floats out the airlock. I imagine that sperm would not fare too well in the total vacuum of space.

Ahh, but semen is still a liquid, and as such will form a sphere after a certain amount of time in zero gravity. Though more viscous than water, it also has greater surface tension.

how would it form a sphere? there arent any forces to act on it to change the shape of the semen

hydrogen bonding and dispersion forces. mainly hydrogen bonding though. semen is mainly water. if you ever look at a drop of water in mid air, its actually a sphere.
basically, hydrogens really love to attract themselves to oxygen, nitrogen and flourine. this explains why no matter how long you try to spread water on a surface, it always forms little beads. oil doesnt.

that is so freakin cool. i wanna try that. too bad i wont ever get a chance to though :(
so would it be just little beads of semen floating close together or one big solid sphere?

Re: Dynamics of human ejaculatory fluids in space
well that depends.
if you got a bucket of water and you threw it into the air, most of the water will form one big blob.
however, if you threw in a stick of dynamite and blew up the bucket the water will form a mist. this is because the explosive has enough energy to break apart these hydrogen bonds, but adjacent molecules will still stick and form blobs, only very small ones.
taking this to the jizz in space example, if someone just fapped without much "passion" then it would just ooze out into one blob. but if say, he hadnt fapped in a month, it would probably be ejected out with tremendous force, and there might be several smaller droplets

Get acquainted with an astronaut, make friends, and ask him that.
I'm not even joking, you can do that. They all have fapped numerous times in space.
Edit: I've just realised you don't even need to do that, I'm pretty sure at least one astronaut posts on Totse. He only spent around 8 days in space, but I suppose he did fap anyway - who wouldn't?.
He is pretty old now though - he went into space in the 60s - so most of what he types hardly makes any sense most of the time.
His name is Neil Armstrong, and his account is moonmeister.

I would say it depends on the sample. I have seen samples with properties that resemble a gel more than a liquid. This depends of the ratio of H2O to large organic hydrocarbons in the sample. It might form a ball or it might not, varying by the sample.
PS: Why is this thread still open? lol.

True. matter of fact, I'd say even better. It has made massive lulz for many people (myself included). I saw the potential comedy of this thread, so I added what I could.
I only questioned the existence of this thread because that was my first response. I see a thread about sperm in space created by a guy called fuckindouchebag and I think: TROLL. But, in all its bogusness, it turned out to be something. I was hoping to bring up the humor in its origins.
Why have you seen several different samples of human jizz?
I imagine most men have produced countless samples of jism, much less seen them. Not uncommon for us dudes.

The jizz will shoot off into deep space and the sperm inside will become cryogenically preserved. It will fly through empty space for a few centuries and eventually smash right into a comet. That comet will crash onto a foreign planet and somehow the sperm will asexually reproduce; which will start human life on another planet.
There are so many things that can come from shooting the human seed into the open universe.

Not at all. Actually detailed questions on how the launch tower, rocket, cockpit, and lander was configured internally.
I build plastic models as a hobby and I'm a fan of the moon missions. It would be the chance of a lifetime to get these details from someone who rode them.

Re: Dynamics of human ejaculatory fluids in space
If it were a strong orgasm, it would likely fire the wad at a high velocity in the manner of a comet, whilst also propelling you back at a negligible speed. Possibly even causing you to do slow front-flips in mid air.
I'm studying for a phsyics final at the moment, so I decided I'd calculate just how slow those front-flips would be (there's a TL;DR at the end).
Avg load velocity = 45 km/h = 12.5 m/s
Avg load volume = 2 teaspoons = 9.857 ml
src: http://johnmm.bol.ucla.edu/sexualphysics/ejaculate.htm
Assuming density ~=1 (mostly water)
we can let the mass of the average load be 10 grams. Mass of the average man ~= 70 kg.
Let's assume a human being rotates like a thin rod (I don't know what shape would better describe it, and I don't feel like doing any more work than that), that the ejaculation is directly tangential to the radius from the center of mass to the point of ejaculation (this makes sense, as it is a bit above parallel to the ground, and assumes optimal spinning), and that the distance between the penis and the center of mass is about 1/5 of the height of the center of mass (I did some quick measurements on myself.). Average man is 163 cm tall and weighs 70 kg, with a center of mass at .56 times his height.
(1.63*.56*1/5) = .18256 [COM to base of penis distance]
r^2+.13^2 = .18256^2 [I decided average penis length is 13 cm, based on wikipedia. shorter your penis, or farther your penis is from your center of mass, the faster you go]
[the radius is from the tip of the penis to the center of mass so that r and the penis are at a right angle]
so r = .12817
L[=angular momentum] = r x p = r*p*sin(theta) = r*p [right angle]
p[=linear momentum] = m*v = .010*12.5 = .125
thus L(load) = .12817*.125 = .01602
L = I[=moment of Inertia]*(omega)
Since the person is rotating around the center of mass, and we're assuming the person is kind of like a thin rod, the moment of inertia is (M*L^2)/12 = 15.499
Given conservation of rotational momentum, we have .01602 = 15.499*(omega)
thus (omega) = .0010337
Where omega is the rotational velocity in radians/second.
2(pi)/.0010337 = seconds/rotation = 6078 s ~= 1.688 hours
TL;DR: You'd do a front flip once every 1.688 hours. (Longer for a longer penis, shorter for a shorter penis. For a penis of length 0, it'd only be every 1.185 hours.)

My gut response would be that he probably wouldn't even make it around a full circle given air resistance. But I'm not sure how to do it, and air resistance isn't on my final.
I got the Reynolds number less than one (~.192), so it would be Stokes flow? That's about as much as I know about drag.
