Re: vanilla icecream
Soda floats!
A few scoops in a bowl with root beer, red cream soda, orange cream soda, grape soda, etc.

Doesn't sound particularly appealing if you ask me.
C'mon mate, a double liter of soda is less than $2.00

Re: vanilla icecream
i have tried boiling down a can of coke into a syrup, cooling it, then adding it to ice cream. it tastes good to me, though other people have said otherwise. ive also tried a dash of ribena syrup with the same reaction from others
though you cant go wrong with adding crushed cookies with a bit of peanut butter

You added Coke...to Coke?
Am I the only one who's having a hard time comprehending this?

Re: vanilla icecream
Fruit makes a good mix.
Smucker's makes a good variety of ice cream toppings. http://www.smuckers.com/fg/ict/default.asp?groupid=4
Nuts, crushed or otherwise, are excellent with ice cream.

Oh, if that's the case, a nice slice of pumpkin pie goes well with vanilla ice cream.
