Designer t-shirts will generally be tight fitting. Especially more so around the bicep area to make you look quite muscley. Also, I've found that instead of me buying Large plain Black T-shirts from Topman (£5) I can pull-off Medium and it's 100% better. It's just long enough but is much tighter. Some of my 'worky' t-shirts I wore to work when I was in construction were really tight around the neck and arms, that was good. I guess there tight against the body so you don't get flailing bits of clothing caught in any machinery ;)

well i just told them i was thinking of a kinda fohawk.
so she cut it for one but when she gelled it instead of a fohawk she just kinda messed it up a bit. turned out nice
