Anyone know good hostels? Good/Cheap things to do while there? Also - whats the funnest city in Eastern Europe?

I´ve lived in Barri Gòtic / BaRCeLoNa, my Mystery City, but it´s been years since and I´m in a hurry now. had my own apartment there, was a part of the juggling / artistic / drug / squatting scene after starting with hostels.
