So I'll be in Vegas in a week for 5 nights and aside from the casino crawl checking out the capital of excess is there anything I should definitely check out before I leave?

I've already decided I should probably try and book a trip out to the Grand Canyon and possibly the Hoover Dam when I get there but is there anything else? Especially interested in good shows to see or if there's anything off-strip I need to check out. Nothing is too seedy as far as recommendations go...
