Default Tight clothes.

This is a question aimed at the girls - do you think tight clothes look good on guys?

If yes, waht kinds? As in, tight jeans or other pants, tight tops,
etc.
This is of course assuming that the guy has the right kind of body for said clothes.

Your thoughts?

Quite agreeing with you on the 'right type of body' comment, loads of people often forget this.

I for one am not a fan of tight jeans on guys, but with the right look, a tight t shirt can top it all off and look pretty great.

Good thread +1

No, god no Mad

No man has an excuse to wear tight clothes unless he's gay or an emo (the later of which is usually a cover for the former anyway).

Why can't people just buy clothes that flatter their individual forms? I know the fashion at the moment steers towards tight jeans and such but goddamn, it doesn't take a genius to see that fashion isn't always great!

Well, it's only really emo if it's black. And then only if you're mainly wearing black.
Or red. Meh, emo fashion sucks.

And tight jeans can look alright, as long as guys don't wear them so they go up their ass crack. That's just fucking wrong.

I don't go with fashion, I just wear whatever looks good on me (I have an athletic figure, so tight clothes can sometimes work)

Aaw, I thought wires had actually +1'd me :( thanks for the compliment anyhow.

I don't like wearing tight clothes personally. I like a bit of slack, bit of freedom in what I wear.

Some people can pull it off though, and I'm not talking about emos and the like.

I wear semi-tight clothes because i'm a twig. Anything baggy on me looks rediculous and I find it uncomfortable. Why carry extra cloth on me if I don't need it?

I weigh in at about 175(79.3786 kg) at 6'3(1.905 m) and I wear tight jeans...

Lets get the harassment out the window...

Ok, now that that's over. I really like the style and in my humble opinion they aren't any more uncomfortable than normal jeans.

Keep in mind, I still have clothing that isn't tight, it's not like some spandex world in my closet if that's what your thinking. So I have quite a few pairs of Dickies jeans and some shorts etc. Not to mention, my suit pants all fit better than any paid of pants should. :)

Tight clothes on (hot) girls = heavenly.

Tight clothes on males = putrid.

And by the way, one of my favorite quotes pertaining to tight clothes:

"Spandex. It's a privilege, not a right!" - Cereal Killer

Boxer briefs, man. Not too tight and not too loose, just perfect.

I think it depends on the definition of tight.

In this day and age, people call what I wear tight, that is... clothes my size, that aren't extra loose on my body. Basically,, clothes that fit.

But to me they are not tight, and to people of the generation before me.

Just depends on who you are.

I think you should take a picture, because who could possibly know what you mean by tight these days?

depends on figure and cut. a very fitted shirt, but not quite button popping, can look awesome on the right person(namely, my boyfriend) but tight jeans look unbelievably shit on 99% of people who attempt to wear them

I only wear tight T-Shirts, 90s Tshirts are horrible, no baggy shit for me.

Skinny jeans are a big fashion no-no that has gone way too far. They are for girls with legs too ugly for skirts.

Me and my brother share most jeans, skinny legged, tight to the point that sitting down is impossible. They look ok on some, not others.

Tight is so relative. For example I wear jeans like this, and while people on TOTSE would probably say "OH MY GOD THOSE ARE SO TIGHT", in the real world most people would not say so:

I wouldn't say they're tight, because they're not, they're the right size.

Totse rules state that anything smaller in fitting than these declare the owner/wearer an emo:

Explain more of what you mean. Blazers are meant to fit snugly, I don't see how one could be 'tight' unless it simply didnt fit.

Will you show us a photo please?? So we can know what you are talking about.

Well, I don´t have any photos of them as I am here in Greece, so no can do.

But for an explanation, the blazers are just basically tightly fitted to the body so they make the person and the jacket look skinny...I don´t know how to describe it better than that. Hopefully anybody in England who knows what I am talking about will offer an explanation.

Mods^^

A lot of mods just wore their clothing a size to small, and had their suits tailored to have longer pants and sleeves to make up for it.

Well, I hope I'm not offending anyone in present day Britain... actually, if any of you dress like that, I hope you DO take offense in this:

That looks fucking awful.

But who knows, I saw a thread earlier in this forum from a guy who shops EXCLUSIVELY at www.metropark.com and so far nobody else has commented on it.

And who knows, many people here dont seem to be aware of the concept of wearing loose linen clothes in the summer.

So I really DO not mean to offend, but I don't know too much about teen fashions these days!

And believe it or not, they were actually good at following fashion.

You're kind of right, but chavs think following fashion is buying all the fake Burberry you can, and wearing lots of shitty ass gold...Eww.

Tight clothes can emphasise a slim body, and make one appear taller.

I'm male and I prefer tight clothes. Not like, skin tight, tight but just enough to actually be comfortable, too.
