Most likely somewhere from $150-$300 depending in the condition of it and the demand for it. Just shop around at gun shops and gun shows and see what either you can get for it or what they are going for.

Take Care,

Kangy

It's OK you didn't sound like a n00b. You get two thumbs up for being a good newbie

Sorry didn't see that you were from the UK. I'm sure that the price won't be that much different' but I'm not famliar with the UK prices. You could tell him to put it on E-Bay. If you do let me know because if it is in good quality I might pick it up.

Edit: Just realized that you have been here a month longer than me. I'm more newb than you. oh well you know what I meant.

Take Care,

Kangy

A further question, will the 1934 berreta take 9mm parabelium rounds, which are luger rounds, as his grandad also had a luger but he has lost it. But we managed to find some rounds for it and want to be certain that they will work. Im pretty sure but as you know "prevention is better thatn cure"

No, it wont fire 9mm luger, the cartridge it fires is shorter, in order to keep the gas pressure within safe limits.

Go to your local gun shop, and ask for the load. I dont think they manufacture them. But they will be able to take the 9x19 and cut the case down so you can use it...

Again i live in the United Kingdom, therefore i cannot go down to my local gun store. Does anyone know the laws regarding blanks in the uk. Because we wish to use the pistol in a movie.

basically. i would think a .380 ACP might fit, many small berettas are in that caliber but then again so are many guns.

That may work, But Id use a low power load, because I wouldnt chance using a hot load with that gun.

Were are unsure as to weither or not the gun is illegal, i believe that as it is a antique the laws regarding it may be different. Again i would like to ask regarding Munitions blanks, are there any websites which can ship over seas? As it is quite a major part of the movie plot.

It wont matter if the gun is legal or not, if you dont have a permit for it. It will be illegal to use or posess it no matter what type of ammunition...
